Two days after the encounter and barbaric act with our security forces at Tarrem in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, the Naxalites have issued a form. In that, they have challenged the Central and State governments in the leaflet issued just after Home Minister Amit Shah left Chhattisgarh.
The most important thing about the pamphlet is that it supports the ongoing ‘Kisan movement’ in the country and for this Bharat Bandh has been announced on 26 April.
The leaflet issued under the signature of CPI (M) spokesperson Abhay states that the government machinery is suppressing the Kisan movement. It also says that the government has failed to protect the public from the corona epidemic, not thinking of saving the people, is raising the ghost of Maoists.
Describing the BJP government as a ‘Saffron terrorist’, the Naxalites have said the government has been doing this kind of propaganda for years to eradicate the existence of Maoists.
December, last year, the protesting farmers were also seen holding posters in support of the Delhi Riots accused Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, Khalid Saifi, and many others. The protesting farmers were seen expressing solidarity with these arrested under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and demanded their release.
It has now become very clear why the “Farmers” demanding the release of the arrested Delhi Riots accused. Why the “Andolan” is getting the Naxal’s support! What has this got to do with “Farm Bills 2020?”
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said a befitting response will be given to those responsible for the attack at an appropriate time.
