The Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti party head- K.Chandrashekhar Rao will head to Delhi on Friday to lay the foundation stone for the office building of the party in Vasant Vihar.
But sources close to the party say that KCR will meet the opposition leaders and farmer unions heads as well and will try to circle the government on the farm bills and disinvestments in the public sector as well. Party sources told that he will also take part in the agitation against the farm laws.
The following action is said to be taken after Congress spokesperson Dasoju Sravan said that BJP and TRS may fight here but they are friends in Delhi, he challenged the leader of the ruling party to take a stand against the central government and prove that he is truly standing with the farmers just like the Punjab Government.
He said, “Rather than indulging in road-side dramas, the CM must call for a special Assembly session and bring in exclusive State laws to protect farmers and negate anti-farmer laws of India on the lines of Punjab government.” It seems that the Telangana CM has fallen for the trap and is expected to meet the opposition leaders in Delhi if sources are to be believed.
Also, KCR has sought an appointment with Union Ministers and Home Minister Amit Shah. It will be interesting to see whether KCR takes part in the agitation or not
